What do you feel when you hear the word “meditate”? Do you cringe kinda like the same response to “exercise”? Ugh! I don’t waaant to meditate. I don’t have time. I can’t meditate because my mind won’t stop.
I understand. I was quite the expert at avoiding meditation for most of my life. Gradually over time, I shifted into a routine of daily meditation. The ongoing benefits are immense and it’s an essential part of my life now.
I’ve discovered that meditation is one of the best ways to loosen the grip of sticky emotions. Like turning over an Etch-A-Sketch to produce a clear slate, I experience a quick mind dump by switching off the incessant mind chatter. Then it’s easier to feel the inner sanctum of peace.
The health benefits of meditation are impressive. Thousands of scientific studies have shown the benefits include stress reduction, better sleep, lower blood pressure, decreased depression and anxiety, improved cardiovascular function, and strengthened immunity. And it doesn’t end there.
Whether you know it or not, you’re a very powerful creator. In meditation, you access your inner divine spirit. Your real power comes from this inner sphere. There’s no weakness or lack in this power—only Divine light. This is where you create your own reality.
Rather than having your mind on autopilot unconsciously creating what you don’t want, use meditation to engage your powerful mind in manifesting what you do want.
In your mind see your goal already achieved. What does that look like? How does it feel? Feel the happiness of reaching this desired outcome.
You’ll soon discover that meditating only 5-10 minutes a day lifts your mood. You will feel increased peace and clarity. Your health will reflect the benefits. Your goals and desires will begin to manifest easier.
