While it’s second-nature for us to take showers to clean our body or meditate to clear our mind, we hardly ever think about cleansing our energy fields. Clean energy fields are necessary to maintain vibrant health and wellbeing.
Your energy field is a luminous, elongated egg-shaped mass of life force (chi) that emanates from, and surrounds, you. Because this energy (auric) field extends out around you, it often picks up dirty energy everywhere you go like an overzealous street sweeper.
Your auric field is not only negatively affected by surrounding energies, like a cranky co-worker or traffic pollution, but also by your own unpleasant thoughts and feelings.
These negative energies build up over time, creating litters of dark dust bunnies. With this dirty energetic buildup, your auras lose their vibrant, clear nature. They become sticky and sluggish like a clogged drain.
This stickiness slows down your spinning chakras which limits the healthy life force streaming through you. Less energy flow results in all kinds of problems including fatigue, depression, illness and irritability.
I’ve found an easy and effective way to cleanse my chakras and energy fields is to take a detoxing bath once a month. It’s also a simple, enjoyable way to relax my mind plus remove toxins and heavy metals from my body.
Here’s my favorite detoxing bath:
Add the following ingredients to your warm or hot bath:
- 1 cup Sea Salt
- 1 cup Epsom Salts
- 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 25 drops of Lavender Oil (optional)
While soaking, have the intention of releasing toxins, unhealthy emotions, pain or negative energy. Feeling gratitude for someone or something in your life is a great way to finish off.
