Your Body Knows How to Heal Itself.
We are walking miracles. Our bodies are astonishing in how they function and innately heal. While your body has powerful healing abilities, there are some things you can do to assist it in the restoration process.
Here a few ways to help you accelerate healing naturally.
Use Food as Medicine.
Specific foods help heal your body from the inside. A popular Ayurvedic proverb is, “When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use; when diet is correct, medicine is of no need.” Keep your kitchen stocked with wholesome, nourishing foods, so it’s easier for you to create healthy snacks and meals.
Strengthen Your Immune System by Being Optimistic.
Scientific studies have shown that people who are optimistic are less likely to get ill. Being optimistic helps your immune system perform better. Boost your immunity by staying positive and full of hope.
Visualization techniques can be used to help you reach a desired goal. When you visualize an outcome, you are directing your mind and body to make that image real. Spend a few minutes daily visualizing your goal already achieved. Feel the emotions that accompany reaching your desire. What would you be doing if you were completely well? How would you feel?
Research has proven meditation slows cellular aging and aids in restoring the body to wellness. Meditation is also an effective way to release stress. Develop a meditation practice of at least ten minutes daily.
Get Moving More Often.
Regular exercise acts as a natural anti-inflammatory. Physical activity boosts your immune system by releasing proteins that assist in building and repairing muscle tissue. Exercise improves blood flow which speeds up healing. The capacity for your body to heal itself is greatly enhanced when your body is in motion. Move around more and have fun.
Keep a Gratitude Journal.
Gratitude triggers a healing chemical response throughout your body. Feel gratitude for at least three things every day.
Bring More Laughter into Your Life.
Laughter decreases stress hormones and artery inflammation. Laughter increases good cholesterol and reduces your risk of heart disease. Find different ways to add laughter throughout your day.
Repeat Positive Affirmations.
Positive affirmations can be used to improve your emotional and physical well-being. Repeat a positive affirmation until you start feeling better emotionally. It’s easier for your body to be healthy when you’re happy.
Find Ways to Relax Naturally.
You can accelerate the healing process with natural relaxation. When you relax, your heart rate, blood pressure, and metabolism decrease. Relaxation increases the amount of nitric oxide which dilates blood vessels and promotes healing. Create natural relaxation throughout your body by listening to music, gardening, painting—the possibilities are endless.
Utilize the Power of Your Subconscious Mind.
Write down a list of what you want healed. Make sure the items are positive and what you do want instead of what you don’t want. You can use this list to direct your powerful subconscious mind to help achieve your goal.
Enhance Optimum Healing Conditions.
Our bodies have astonishing healing and regeneration capabilities. From simple finger cuts to severe trauma, our bodies have innate healing abilities that spring into action to restore and create new pathways to continue to function. Give your body an extra boost by using the suggestions above to enhance the conditions for healing.
Thanks Robbie . While I was in Canada travelling I came across Gary & your book. It has reinforced and explained so much to me. He was a special man, and lovely that you are continuing his work. I have recommended your books to so many of my friends. The way you think and the energy you give off are so powerful. Thank you and Gary for my enlightenment . Happy Christmas with love and best wishes, Susie B
